Seeking A Nation - A Warrior's Journey
Heading into the seedier parts of town, you soon find a tavern with various locals playing Go and Shogi, with bets reaching astronomical amounts. Challenging several of the amateurs, you quickly finish each match and collect your winnings before losing on purpose to a few of the better players, increasing the size of the betting pool before sweeping the board and earning more than enough for your spot on the ship. Leaning against the wooden guardrail as the port fades from sight, you turn towards the bow of the ship, eager for your first glimpse of the capital.
