Seeking A Nation - A Warrior's Journey
Keeping out of sight by positioning yourself to block the hallway you had used to get ahead of the innkeeper, you stand at the ready with your prized spear pointed forward. The innkeeper turns the corner in a careless manner, and nearly jumps back into the wall at the fierce sight, babbling incoherently while you remain as silent as a statue, eyes burning into his. Digging at his pockets, the innkeeper deposits all the coin on him to the floor and apologizes repeatedly as he backs away and runs back the way he came, leaving you to gather your spoils and return to your room for a restful sleep. You awake and set out at dawn, eager to reach your destination and leave the inn in your dust.
